Coventry Receives URAC Re-Accreditation for Case Management

Downers Grove, IL.—Coventry has been awarded re-accreditation for its workers’ compensation case management program by URAC. On July 24, 2018 the URAC Accreditation Committee (AC) granted Coventry full re-accreditation effective from September 1, 2018 to September 1, 2021. The Coventry case management program has been URAC accredited since 2003.

URAC is a Washington, DC-based accreditation entity whose mission is to advance healthcare quality through leadership, accreditation, measurement, and innovation. URAC’s Accreditation standards ensure appropriate patient protections have been established, and include quality improvement, information management, ethics, and the overall case management process.

Coventry’s case management solutions advocate for appropriate, high-quality medical treatment while helping facilitate prompt return-to-work. They ensure that appropriate treatment and return-to-work plans are based on URAC guidelines that have been established and implemented specifically for work-related injuries.
