Expert Sessions

Expert sessions will dive deeper into topics like:

    Session 1: Auto Physical Damage
    Collision Industry Predictions for 2025

Will claims frequency continue to decline while severity increases? How will current used vehicle prices influence total loss rates? And what impact will the latest automotive technology have on collision repair methods, costs and cycle time? Find out as we leverage Mitchell’s comprehensive claims and editorial data to reveal this year’s most notable trends and make predictions about what insurers, repairers and vehicle manufacturers can expect in 2025.

    Session 1: Casualty
Using Bodily Injury Claim Analytics to Identify Potentially Abusive Treatment and Billing Patterns

In this session, Enlyte will share an exciting new capability that combines customer provided attorney information with medical provider billing data to help adjusters understand where abuse is likely occurring. The goal is to provide deeper insight into those attorney and provider combinations that are billing outside of industry norms and provide adjusters with information to leverage during negotiations.

    Session 1: Workers' Comp
The Future of Comp: A Legislative and Regulatory Update

In this discussion, speakers will offer their own "state of the union" on how we’re fairing and what issues should be in the top 10 for the workers’ comp industry. In addition, they’ll provide recommendations on current regulatory and legislative reform initiatives to remain compliant with comp laws and stay on top of proposals that could impact the industry. Panelists will also discuss how attendees can best utilize lobbyists to ensure important issues are being addressed, as well as offer insights on how various election scenarios could impact our industry and offer a current view of payment reforms with empirical data insights.

    Session 2: Casualty
    Resilience Redefines Results

Managing today’s workplace challenges requires a high level of resilience for both employees and organizations. From coping with increased turnover through dealing with growing pressure and demands across departments, developing strategies designed to improve morale and outcomes is crucial. In this presentation, experts will discuss the link between resilience and mental and physical health, and how resilience can be developed and enhanced within your organization. Participants will gain insight into what defines a resilient individual and the direct impact of resilience on work productivity. Presenters will offer practical, actionable strategies to cultivate personal resilience and provide leaders with tools to fortify their teams' resilience.

    Session 2: Auto Physical Damage
Making the Intelligent Decision: The Time to Invest in AI is Now!

Artificial intelligence (AI) is transforming the auto insurance industry. No longer a novelty, it is becoming a necessity with 88% of carriers either currently using or planning to use it to support everyday operations. In this session, we demonstrate how you can leverage AI today by applying Mitchell’s intelligent solutions to key decision points in the claims process — enhancing photo capture and FNOL, accelerating loss profiling and assignment, automating collision-damage appraisals, and revolutionizing estimate review and vehicle reinspection.

    Session 2: Workers' Comp
    Navigating Networks 2024

Join us for a captivating panel discussion featuring participants from Enlyte and our valued Coventry Network clients, who will engage in conversations about the latest provider industry trends in workers' compensation. This session will delve into the challenges and opportunities as well as provide attendees with first-hand insights into Enlyte's network strategic investments and transformative innovations. Look forward to gaining invaluable insights on how these advancements can positively impact your business. We invite all those interested in the convergence of innovation and workers' compensation to be a part of this enlightening session.

    Session 3: Auto Casualty
Putting Structure into Unstructured Data: Medical Records Summarization

Medical records play a critical role in understanding the reason for the type of medical care being billed for. As billing regulations evolve to be more complex, so do the size and extent of corresponding medical records. Adjusters today are tasked with reviewing these records manually which can be very time-consuming and subject to error. Hear how Enlyte has developed a new solution to accurately summarize medical records using generative AI that also leverages Enlytes extensive clinical expertise in the final summary.

    Session 3: Auto Physical Damage
Better Together: Teaming Up to Tackle Industry Challenges

Labor shortages, rising claim costs and increased competition are just a few of the many challenges facing auto insurers and collision repairers this year. Discover how Mitchell and our partners are addressing these challenges through development of advanced technology, investment in intellectual property and proprietary data, and focus on consumer safety and enhanced experiences. This session highlights specific examples of industry leadership and ways that we can all help insurers, repairers and policyholders successfully navigate the road ahead.

    Session 3: Casualty
From Opioid Crisis to Digital Therapeutics: The Only Constant in Pharmacy Management Has Been Change

Pharmacy benefits management has evolved significantly over the past few decades. In this presentation, experts will address the complex challenges of managing pharmacy benefits and strategies to tackle emerging trends. This includes holistic approaches designed to capture out-of-network prescribing, address overall claim management, and consider psychosocial factors to optimize outcomes and cost containment.

    Session 4: Auto Casualty
The Future of Auto: A Legislative and Regulatory Update

In this discussion, speakers will offer their own "state of the union" on how we’re fairing and what issues should be in the top 10 for the auto industry. In addition, they’ll provide recommendations on current regulatory and legislative reform initiatives to remain compliant with auto laws and stay on top of proposals that could impact the industry. Panelists will also discuss how attendees can best utilize lobbyists to ensure important issues are being addressed, as well as offer insights on how various election scenarios could impact our industry and offer a current view of payment reforms with empirical data insights.

    Session 4: Auto Physical Damage
How ADAS Are Transforming Collision Repair

Most new vehicles on the road today have highly complex computer networks that include advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS). More complicated than the control systems of an F-16 fighter jet, these computer networks have a major impact on how a collision-damaged automobile is repaired and what steps are required to properly restore it to pre-accident condition. Learn more about ADAS and how these systems are transforming the claims process for repairers, insurers and consumers. In addition, discover how the latest in diagnostic technology is being used to help safely and efficiently return today’s complex vehicles to the road.

    Session 4: Workers' Comp
Modernizing the Work Comp Adjuster’s Desktop

Work comp adjusters and their organizations face many challenges in the complex world of claims management. They are bombarded with issues such as too many manual, paper and disparate processes, high staff turnover, multiple portals to navigate, and too many phone calls. The good news is we live in an exciting time where technology is advancing at a rapid pace, allowing us to soon solve many of these issues. In this discussion, Enlyte product experts will share how they are leveraging these technologies to help solve adjuster challenges today, with an eye on meeting tomorrow’s issues. This includes stronger utilization of data analytics, AI, digitization, integrations and training.

    Session 5: Casualty
From Early Intervention to Lasting Impact: Keys to Success

Explore the intricacies of early intervention programs in this engaging session with industry leaders. Featuring both recently outsourced and well-established telephonic case management programs, the panel will delve into the unique challenges and successes experienced by each.

Experts from PMA will share how they met key objectives to increase clinical productivity, maintain financial stability, and ensure a seamless transition for their claims staff, while optimizing outcomes for their clients. They'll also discuss how they overcame challenges through cost-benefit analysis and comprehensive education and training.  In contrast, leaders from ESIS will share how they have refined their early intervention program over the years, with a deep commitment to keeping their approach relevant.

    Session 5: Auto Physical Damage

Now that your organization has embraced artificial intelligence (AI), how do you measure its effectiveness? Many companies struggle to accurately assess whether their AI-powered technology solutions are achieving the results promised and providing a notable return on investment. This presentation includes practical tips for how to properly define AI key performance metrics, monitor outcomes versus output, and objectively report results. It also includes real-world examples of how you can harness the true power of machine learning and computer vision in the claims process.
